Newly Remodeled Reference Room:

Our library was remodeled over the 2006-2007 school year. When we reopened in fall 2007 our previous books only Reference Room was remodeled to include 21 student computers and a Smartboard teacher work station. We are very proud of the total renovation but this is my personal favorite change.

Week 2, Thing 3

The most confusing aspect of all this is getting the weeks and numberings down. I was befuddled by this when I started in the summer.  It is no clearer to me now but I think I will just keep going.

Week 1, Thing 2

After reviewing the 7 1/2 habits of life long learning, the hardest habit for me will be to teach and mentor others. I continually struggle in my job as a high school library media teacher to be a better teacher. That is one of the main reasons I am even interested in Library 2.0, in hopes it will give me ideas or suggestions on ways I can make my teaching better. The easiest habit will be to accept responsibility for my own learning. If nothing else I am great at accepting the blame.
